The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has launched a version of its corporate banking mobile app that can be used on Android phones.

ANZ Transactive – Mobile has been available for iOS users since 2012, but ANZ has now made it available for corporate customers on Android.

Anne Collard, global head of channels and platforms for transaction banking at ANZ, said: "We were the first bank to launch a mobile cash management solution and both the uptake and feedback from our customers has already far exceeded our expectations.

"Given the growing popularity of Android devices, it made sense to extend ANZ Transactive – Mobile to Android users and we’ve worked closely with our customers to develop an app that provides even greater visibility and control of their cash management activities.

"We know our corporate customers are embracing mobile technology in every aspect of their lives, and they are demanding the same technologies in their work environments. Today’s launch is responding to that demand."
