Chase has announced it will roll out the Isis mobile wallet nationwide later this year, offering it’s credit cards in the wallet.
Chase, the largest bank in the US by assets, has run a pilot for the scheme in Austin, Texas and Salt Lake City, Utah, this agreement will enable Chase cardholders around the country to make mobile payments.
Richard Quigley, president of Chase Card Services, said: "Chase is committed to providing cardholders with a first-rate mobile payments experience."
"Based on the positive results in Austin and Salt Lake, we are pleased to expand our relationship with Isis and provide Chase cardholders nationwide with another quick, convenient and secure way to use their credit cards for everyday spending while on-the-go", Quigley added.
Chase plans to allow Chase Freedom, Chase Sapphire, Chase Slate and JPMorgan Palladium cardholders to be able to load their cards into the Isis mobile wallet allowing customers to pay with their card through their mobile.
Chase recently has taken the top spot in a mobile banking report from researcher Forrester, scoring particularly highly on transactional functionality.
