The kids’ e-commerce solution Virtual Piggy has joined forces with global developer of business software and hardware systems Oracle. Integrating with Oracle’s ATG Web Commerce platform, the youth-friendly payment solution will be available to all Oracle merchants.

The integration of the two technologies expands the reach of Virtual Piggy’s network, making their COPPA-compliant (Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act) technology accessible to over 390,000 brands worldwide.

"Oracle ATG Web Commerce is one of the world’s leading ecommerce systems," said Virtual Piggy founder and executive officer Dr. Jo Webber. "This technology integration will allow us to rapidly supply Virtual Piggy as a payment solution for Oracle ATG Web Commerce merchants."

Virtual Piggy allows parents to set up a monthly allowance for their children and provides youth under 18 with the opportunity to make purchasing, saving, and other money management decisions for themselves, within a parent-controlled environment.

This latest collaboration is Virtual Piggy’s fourth major ecommerce system integration following eBay’s Magento platform, OsCommerce and DemandWare.
