Global payments firm Western Union has introduced outbound money transfer services in Myanmar.
Using outbound money transfer services, consumers can transfer funds to more than 200 nations through nine local partner banks.
The new service will allow users to transfer funds up to $3,000 per day through partner banks, including KBZ Bank, CB Bank, Aya Bank, Yoma Bank, Myanmar Oriental Bank, First Private Bank, Global Treasure Bank, Myanmar APEX Bank and United Amara Bank.
The company has been offering inbound services in the country since 2013.
Recently, Western Union launched its mobile and online money transfers service to Cuba via Western Union app and wu.com in the US.
Western Union allows consumers and businesses to send and receive money around the world in association with its Vigo, Orlandi Valuta, Pago Facil and Western Union Business Solutions branded payment services.
