B2B prepaid card specialists Cornercard UK has tapped technology giant Samsung’s mobile payment service Samsung Pay.
Under the partnership, all Cornercard UK users can use their compatible Samsung devices to carry out contactless transactions securely.

The service will be available on selected Samsung devices including Galaxy S9+, S9, Note8, S8+, S8, S7 edge, S7, S6 edge+, S6 edge and other models. It will also be available on Samsung smartwatches when paired with compatible smartphones.
At the same time, Cornercard UK users will continue to receive all benefits and rewards.
Increased contactless functionality
The collaboration, which increases Cornercard UK’s pre-existing contactless functionality, is in response to customers’ growing demand for contactless payment services.
Cornercard UK CEO Chris Adams said: “The launch of Samsung Pay offers our customers an easy and secure payment solution across more devices, simplifying everyday life.
“We’re delighted to be able to offer these digital wallet services as part of our service and commitment to addressing the needs of our customers.”
Samsung devices are protected by Knox security platform to secure all information and data stored in the device.
All transactions made through Samsung Pay utilise an encrypted digital token. This is in place of card data. Biometric security is used from a fingerprint, six-digit code or an iris scan for added security.
