Bahrain telecom operator Batelco and Arab Financial Services have added the new international money transfer and mobile top up services to bwallet’s portfolio.
Through the money transfer service, users can make fund transfers to bank accounts, e-wallets or individuals with their phones.
The proposition will be powered by the Mastercard Send payment service.

Participating countries are Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Philippines and Sri Lanka, with plans on for a broader rollout later.
Through the new mobile top up service, bwallet customers will be able to top up international prepaid mobile phone account with the click of a button.
The service has been currently launched in more than 100 countries. These include neighbouring GCC states.
