TuChequera.com, a virtual checkbook platform in Puerto Rico, has collaborated with Western Union Business Solutions to support cross border payment services.
The checkbook platform enables remote check printing and payments.

Through the platform, customers can also enter deposits from computer or mobile.
All this is said to be done without any complicated configuration.
The latest tie-up will offer customers of TuChequera.com access to Western Union’s payment platform called WU EDGE.
Commenting on the partnership, TuChequera.com founder and president José García said: “With our alliance, local businesses will have access to an innovative and world-class platform allowing entrepreneurs the ability to be more competitive in the international marketplace.”
The platform will enable the customers to send business payments round-the-clock in more than 130 currencies.
Western Union Business Solutions vice president for the Latin America and Caribbean region Alfred Nader said: “Puerto Rico is the first region in Latin America and The Caribbean where we offered the EDGE digital platform in 2018.
“EDGE offers the best technology for entrepreneurs to reach international businesses for their global payments.”
The latest move comes close on the heels of ACI Worldwide’s acquisition of Western Union’s US bill pay business Speedpay.
The all-cash transaction was valued at $750m.
