Danish payments firm Nets has teamed up with GIRO Zrt to offer an instant payments platform in Hungary.
The RealTime24/7 platform is now available for banks in Hungary, which can test its services.

By GlobalData“The delivery of the platform is the outcome of a close and successful partnership between the parties which means that the instant payments platform is delivered on time in accordance with the originally agreed milestone plan,” Nets stated.
The launch of RealTime24/7 in Hungary marks the fourth deployment of the platform.
The platform is already live in Denmark, Italy and Slovenia.
It will also be made available in Norway soon.
Commenting on the development, Nets SVP Torben Hohlmann said: “We are happy to say that we have delivered on time in a very fruitful cooperation with GIRO Zrt.”
The development comes shortly after has Nets’ partnership expansion with Norwegian payment app Vipps for the processing of BankAxept transactions.
BankAxept is the national payment system of Norway.
Earlier this year, Nets was in the news for its purchase of Polish online payment firms Dotpay/eCard.
Nets was recently also in the limelight for its merger with German payments firm Concardis Payment Group as well as strategic partnership with Polish payments firm Przelewy24.
