Ingenico Group Global Online SVP Gabriel de Montessus said: “We are very proud to be launching TravelHub, a state of the art solution that helps travel companies increase revenue from online channels.

“TravelHub combines the global reach of Ingenico’s online payment platforms that can now be accessed with a simple connection.”

The launch of TravelHub is expected to bolster Ingenico’s reach in the travel industry, where it works with airlines, hotels and online travel agents.

TravelHub provides direct connection to global payment capabilities and integrates with prominent airline global distribution systems. This is said to reduce operational complexities of travel companies.

Ingenico ePayments global head of travel Eric Liebman said: “Online travel businesses are looking to navigate the complex technology ecosystem while growing quickly in a very competitive space.

“TravelHub helps travel companies provide the best digital customer experience, offering payment methods and currencies travellers want to pay with.”

In May this year, Ingenico launched LinkPlus, a new payment solution for businesses. The solution is designed to enable merchants send payments using a link or QR code.
