The alliance between Danish payments firm Nets and Polish online payments firm Przelewy24 has obtained the go-ahead from regulators.
The alliance was announced in February this year.
It will lead to the creation of P24 Dot Card, which includes Prezelewy24 and Dotpay/eCard. The two entities were snapped up by Nets.
Nets will own a 51% interest in P24 DotCard, with Przelewy24 CEO Piotr Kurczewski owning the remainder.
Besides, Kurczewski will continue to serve in the existing role.
Kurczewski noted: “With our joint offerings in the e-commerce area, we will further strengthen our combined portfolio and, as part of the Nets Group, we will be able to speed up innovation building on our joint capabilities to the benefit of our customers.”
