Apple Pay is available on iOS devices and is accepted in the country’s public transportation networks.

Revolut offers its services for Euro and Pound Sterling bank accounts. It uses either MasterCard prepaid or Visa debit cards. The features of the cards are fee-free currency exchange, stock trading and peer-to-peer payments.

With Apple Pay support, users of the card will be able to use their iPhone or Apple Watch for purchases made in stores and businesses. They will also be able to use their iPad and Mac for making online purchases.

Users will have the opportunity to send and receive money from their friends and family via Apple Cash, Apple’s version of Venmo.

Plans for a global expansion

Adding your card to Apple Pay is simple. Open the Revolut app, head to the Cards tab and tap the “Add to Apple Wallet” button. Alternatively, open the Wallet app on your device and tap the + symbol.

For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your IPhone and select ‘Wallet & Apple Pay’, then tap ‘Add Credit or Debit Card’.

Whether you’re tapping in on public transport or paying for your lunch on a holiday, you can make fast payments with the devices you carry every day. There’s no need to dig around for your card – just pay with your iPhone or Apple Watch.

Apple Pay is currently only available for Revolut customers in the UK, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland.

Revolut says it has planned to expand to other countries soon.
