Payment processing solutions provider VizyPay has taken over POS and payment solutions firm Echo Daily.

Both the firms focus on small businesses.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

The acquisition offers Iowa-based VizyPay a second office location in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Besides, it adds key Echo Daily staff to bolster VizyPay’s sales and customer as well as tech support units.

Echo Daily owner Jared Hackler will move to VizyPay as part of the deal.

Hackler will now serve as the national sales director at VizyPay, with responsibility for managing the development of the sales training process.

Hackler stated: “Joining the VizyPay team is truly a catalyst in my 20-year career in the payments industry.

“It means being a part of not only a vision to change the life of business owners and sales professionals across the nation but making it a reality.”

The deal also brings to VizyPay proprietary technology for a POS loyalty programme.

VizyPay CEO Austin Mac Nab said: “This acquisition is the next logical step in our growth strategy and the immense amount of sales and technology experience Echo Daily brings to the team will enable us to take our company to the next level.”

Headquartered in Nevada, Echo Daily serves a range of small-to-medium-sized businesses including retail shops, restaurants, and gyms.
