Hungarian e-commerce operator UNAS has chosen Wirecard as its Payment Service Provider (PSP).
Under the agreement, around 5000 merchant partners of UNAS can avail the payment solutions of Wirecard.
The selection of Wirecard is said to support acceptance of major payment methods, easy integration as well as address security concerns.
UNAS business development manager Gáll Barna said: “We open up a whole new world to legacy businesses struggling to survive through traditional retail methods alone. With our solutions, merchants of any size and industry can launch their online shop and become operational in minutes.
“Key to these merchants being able to compete on a global footing, is the ability to ensure a smooth and frictionless payment experience for all. Wirecard provides the most comprehensive payment technology on the market so was an obvious choice as a PSP integration partner.”
One-in-five of all Hungarian stores offer their products through UNAS.
