Mobile payment platform CITCON has entered into a strategic partnership with Tulip, a cloud-based mobile solutions provider, to launch QR mobile payment platform for luxury and fashion retail brands.

Through this partnership, the companies aim to streamline retailers’ omnichannel payment process and boost revenue from mobile wallet users.

Approximately 1.3 billion people across the world are estimated to use a mobile payment app by 2023, according to eMarketer.

The partners claim that their integrated technology will reduce the complexity of payment solutions and help retailers in remaining competitive in technology-driven market and constantly changing customer requirement.

The secure payment solution will allow luxury retailers to improve customer’s checkout experience by allowing them to pay for their purchases by simply scanning the QR code.

The alliance with CITCON will allow Tulip customers to offer global shoppers option to pay through payment method such as WeChat Pay, Alipay and UnionPay QR.
