Online payment solutions provider Veem has expanded its no-fees domestic payment services to Canada, including Québec.

The service, dubbed Veem Local Canada, will provide Canadian business with ‘all-in-one, end-to-end solution’ for cross payments between provinces and territories across the country, said Veem.

It includes Electronic Funds Transfers (EFT) with no fund caps.

Other key features of the service include payment workflow solutions such as reconciliation process, integrations with Quickbooks and Xero, and free features including invoice capture and tiered approval flow.

Founded in 2014, Veem connects business owners and their accountants, via integrations with QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite.

Veem introduced its no-fee domestic payment product Veem Local in this March.

The service offers ACH and check payment options for small businesses, including integration with Quickbooks and Xero and optical character recognition.

Last November, Veem bolstered its domestic payment offering in the US by launching Veem Check, a new business-to-business tool.

Veem CEO Marwan Forzley said: “After a successful launch in the US, we are thrilled to expand our new product offering to small and medium-sized businesses in Canada.

“Veem is always looking for ways to provide more value to our users, and this is a natural next step for us.”

Veem expanded into Canada in 2018, enabling fund transfers between international business partners in more than 95 countries.

In September 2020, the firm secured a $31m investment to develop a channel partner programme for geographic expansion.
