Payments processor Worldpay and IT company Endava have signed up for a three year strategic partnership, valued at over £45m ($76m).
The companies have already been working together for two and a half years.

According to the new partners, the contract will see Worldpay outsource IT services to Endava as it works to transform its existing payments platform.

Endava is a Europe-based IT services firm with 11 locations across the UK, USA, Germany, Romania, Moldova and Macedonia and provides services to the banking, insurance, telecom, retail, travel, media and publishing sectors.
Previous clients in the banking and payments sector include VocaLink.
According to Endava, it was contracted to provide services to VocaLink’s UK outfit when it took over the development of a new processing system from the international business.
Endava was managing a team of up to 60 staff in the UK, made up of its own staff, in-house and vendor staff.
The IT firm said it was still providing testing services to VocaLink five years after the completion of the project.
Other Endava projects have included replacing the legacy card transaction system of a global financial institution, according to the company.
