Holt’s Military Bank has introduced a new Visa-branded debit card for the military and ex-military personnel in the UK.

Featuring a textured effect background inspired by the fabric of the military uniform, the card has been designed to fulfil the requirements of the bank’s serving military customers.

The card is easy to identify and use in poor lighting, in difficult weather conditions, or by customers with a visual impairment. It is also the first card in the UK to feature the Military Covenant for Fairness mark.

The bank, dedicated for the British armed forces, said that its customers will automatically receive the Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) accredited card.

Holt's Military Banking manager Rod Reading said: “Until now, our Holt's customers used Royal Bank of Scotland debit cards.

“The launch of our Holt's debit card is an important moment for the brand, and a clear demonstration to our military customers that 'where you serve, we serve' – a commitment they will be reminded of every time they use their card.”
