Bulgaria-based UniCredit Bulbank has reportedly launched a new Debit MasterCard for students and university professors at preferential conditions.

The new card will be offered at a promotional monthly maintenance fee of a mere BGN0.5 ($0.28), FOCUS Information Agency reported citing a report published by the Standart daily.
The student debit card provides benefits such as overdraft against a scholarship as well as zero charge for transactions through POS terminals and online.
Using the card, students will be able to withdraw from UniCredit Bulbank and Unicredit ATM devices in Europe at no cost.
According to the report, the card will be personalised by indicating the educational institution, department, or faculty number.
