The cards carry the bank’s logo as well as the logo of the 27th SEA Games, which are scheduled to commence on 11 December 2013 in Myanmar, reported Mizzima News.

Kanbawza Bank vice administrative director, Zaw Lin Htut, was quoted by the news agency as saying that the debit cards will be accepted by retail terminals and ATMs connected to the Myanmar Payment Union network.

The bank will offer the card to both Myanmar and foreign nationals at a minimum prepay of MMK100,000 (US$ 97). The cards will be valid for five years from the date issue.
