Ahlibank, a Qatari owned financial institution, and Visa International have rolled out their first Visa Platinum credit card in Qatar powered with Visa payWave technology.
The new offering enables cardholders to save time and enjoy the convenience of making all their payments faster and more conveniently.
The new card allows users to simply shop, wave and go – convenient, fast and secure without needing any PIN or signature for purchases of QAR100 ($27.46) or less.
For shopping worth more than QAR100 ($27.46), the payment can be done using the Visa payWave with inserting the PIN in the terminal.
Now, the users can avail Visa’s zero liability policy that protects cardholders against any fraudulent or unauthorised purchases; and the availability of receiving SMS alerts for transactions.
Additionally, Visa platinum credit cardholders can enjoy more entertainment, shopping and dining privileges, besides accessing six complimentary airport lounges visits every year to over 25 airport lounges globally.
