Bleep, a UK-based designer and manufacturer of electronic point of sale (EPOS) systems, has unveiled a new independent sales organisation (ISO) and merchant services provider (MSP), Bleep Payments.

The new division will provide merchant services with safe card payment terminals that  can either be combined with Bleep EPOS, work with other EPOS providers, or as separate processing devices.

“This direct integration has real tangible benefits for businesses in the shape of faster processing of transactions, speedier service times and a reduction in manual keying errors,” Bleep said in a statement.

The new department will be headed by Ian Webb, who has more than 25 years of experience in the payments and banking sector.

Bleep CEO John Wellman said: “Payments are not a new thing for Bleep. Don’t forget, in 2012 at the London Olympic Games we pioneered the launch of contactless payments in the UK alongside Visa and Ingenico.

“The launch of Bleep Payments highlights our dedication to the industry, commitment to quality and innovation and our customer focused approach.

“Every year we invest heavily in research and development to continue offering high quality EPOS and Payment solutions and we are constantly looking at ways we can enhance our offering. The launch of Bleep Payment is just one of them.”
