US-based firm Petal has partnered with WebBank to roll out its new Visa credit card across the country.
The Petal Visa credit card has been developed to provide credit to groups that could not receive services from standard finance providers.
The card comes without any fees or credit score and is said to feature high limits, low interest rates and transparency.
The product, which can be used at all Visa-accepting merchants, is accompanied by a mobile app meant for building credit, tracking expenses and money management.
The firm uses a new form of credit analysis called Cashflow Underwriting with machine learning to analyse the complete digital financial record of a customer.
This is expected to provide additional insights into the financial capability of customers in order to deliver better experience.
