Shell Oil Products US has partnered with Citi Retail Services and Fuel Rewards programme operator Excentus to launch new Fuel Rewards credit cards for its customers.

The new Shell | Fuel Rewards Mastercard and the private label Shell | Fuel Rewards Card are designed to provide both fuel and non-fuel savings under the Fuel Rewards programme.

These Fuel Rewards cards offer rollback on fuel and certain rebates on non-fuel transactions at associated Shell retail stations. In addition, cardholders will get automatic Fuel Rewards programme membership.

Furthermore, the new credit cards will come with 2% Shell rebates on the initial dining and groceries purchases worth $10,000 per year, and 1% Shell rebates on other qualifying payments.

Citi Retail Services head of partnership management Doug Krapcho said: “Shell and Citi Retail Services have a long-term relationship and we are excited to introduce these industry-first product offerings to Shell customers.”

Shell Oil Products US general manager of payments for North America Chris Suess said: “Providing new and innovative offerings for our customers is important to Shell.

“Working with Citi Retail Services and Excentus, these new payment options will deliver a differentiated and simplified experience for our customers, making it easier for them to pay and save at participating Shell branded retail stations.”
