The Ohio‑based card services business of loyalty solutions provider Alliance Data Systems has inked an agreement with Penn National Gaming to offer co-brand credit card services for the gaming operator.
With the new credit card programme, Penn National customers will be able to earn points on hotel, dining and non-gambling entertainment purchases at its locations.
Moreover, customers will also be able to earn additional points on using the credit card for daily purchases on other locations.
This builds up on Penn National’s existing loyalty programme, through which customers can earn points for gaming and other purchases at its properties.
Alliance Data card services business president Melisa Miller said: “We look forward to leveraging the winning combination of innovative technology and data-driven insights to connect with loyal Penn National enthusiasts and to enable them to earn even more of what they love.
“By increasing customers’ access to the exceptional experiences they already enjoy, we are confident our unique partnership will help Penn National continue its impressive growth story.”
Customers can apply for the credit card within a Penn National property in seconds, leveraging Alliance Data’s Frictionless Mobile Credit capability.
Using Alliance Data’s Instant Card Issuance capability, approved customers can get their card within minutes at Penn National properties.
Penn National Gaming chief marketing officer Jennifer Weissman said: “Our agreement with Alliance Data will allow us to offer customers additional ways to earn valuable benefits, while increasing our current customers’ loyalty and providing us with new insights to help reach even more customers.”
