The new product can be used at the JCB acceptance network, which comprises approximately 30 million merchants across the globe.
The credit card, which comes with no annual fee, will offer customers cashback of 3% without any minimum limit.
The bank’s cardholders will also receive free access to more than 73 airport lounges in Singapore, Korea, Japan, China, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam.
The SCB JCB Platinum Credit Card also provides international traveling coverage of up to THB4.5m ($141,793) and medical insurance coverage of up to THB25,000 ($787) per session.
JCB International president and COO Kimihisa Imada was quoted by news agency ANI as saying: “Thailand’s economy has remained well…The partner this time, SCB, is a technologically advanced company. The credit card can be issued by SCB’s mobile app. It is very easy to send the application form and a lot faster than before.
