US-based credit card issuer Credit One Bank has inked a multi-year partnership with WWE, a sports entertainment company majorly known for professional wrestling.

This partnership will include a themed credit card for WWE fans, in addition to other product and fan initiatives.

Credit One Bank senior vice-president of marketing John Coombe said that the tie-up will enable Credit One to utilise WWE’s media platform through integrated content.

This includes integration of Credit One Bank messaging into upcoming WWE pay-per-view events on WWE Network, such as Survivor Series and Tables, Ladders & Chairs.

Additional integrations are set to be featured across WWE’s various digital platforms, including YouTube.

Coombe added: “This relationship will help us reach new consumers, extend our leading product and service offerings to our millions of card members, and ultimately give people more of what they love—something that aligns well with WWE’s approach to developing family-friendly entertainment accessible to fans across multiple platforms.”

As part of the tie-up, WWE and Credit One Bank plan to provide new benefits and customer experiences for existing and future Credit One Bank card members.

WWE chief brand officer Stephanie McMahon said: “We are proud to partner with Credit One Bank on this multi-faceted partnership which will provide exciting opportunities for WWE fans and Credit One card members.

“We are confident the WWE Universe will enjoy the offerings we are creating as part of this integrated campaign.”

Last year, Credit One Bank launched a new cash back rewards credit card in collaboration with American Express, offering unlimited 1% cash back rewards on every dollar spent.

In 2018, Credit One Bank unveiled a new credit card featuring ice hockey team Vegas Golden Knights theme.
