From today (25 May), eligible American Express cardmembers can receive a £5 statement credit when they spend £40 or more in store at B&Q, the UK’s home improvement and garden living retailer.
American Express cardmembers can access this offer by simply adding it to their card from the Amex mobile app or website.
Cardmembers will then be able to receive a £5 statement credit when they spend £40 or more at one of B&Q’s 300 locations around the UK (available once per card).
The offer comes just in time for the second May Bank Holiday, during which many will be looking to prepare their outdoor spaces for a summer of socialising with friends and family following the easing of lockdown restrictions.
“We added thousands of new merchant locations in the UK in 2020”
Dan Edelman, VP and general manager UK Merchant Services at American Express commented:
“We’re committed to significantly expanding the places that accept American Express around the world and in the UK. B&Q has consistently been one of the top places our cardmembers request to use their cards and we are pleased that B&Q stores across the UK now welcome American Express.
