Dublin-based WorldNet has partnered with POS
solutions provider Veracity Payment Solutions to provide US
merchants with its multi-currency online payment processing
platform.
Under the agreement, Veracity can now tailor
its payment processing platform to expand in the SME sector with
customised low-cost solutions. However, specific terms of the
agreement were not disclosed.
According to John Clarke, head of product
innovation at WorldNet, the solution supports the next generation
of online payment gateway requirements, referred to as Payment
Gateway 2.0 – a multi-channel solution, addressing both e-commerce
and m-commerce “in a seamless manner”.
“We are pleased to add this state of the art
gateway platform to our ever increasing portfolio of technology
solutions,” said Grant Putre, chief information officer at
Veracity.
“This alliance is another important step in
our strategy to deliver versatile web-based solutions such as
multi-currency processing and dynamic currency conversion to our
customers, while providing a rich base of custom solutions that are
secure, cost-effective and easy for customers to manage. We look
forward to working with WorldNet’s talented developers to deliver
innovative solutions to our customers.”
Joseph Cohane, CEO of Veracity, claims the
deal will mean the company will now be able to compete at the
highest level of e-commerce and m-commerce processing.
