Paysafe’s viafintech has formed an alliance with Pecunpay to roll out a new cash deposit and withdrawal network in Spain.
Under the new partnership, fintech firms, which have collaboration with Pecunpay, can access the latter’s core banking system and licences.
This will enable the customers of those fintech companies to deposit and withdraw cash at various supermarket checkouts throughout Spain.
The service will be offered through the integration of Pecunpay with Paysafe-powered viacash.
viacash will be made available as a white-labelled solution to Pecunpay’s fintech partners, who can tailor their cash deposit and withdrawal services as per thneir own requirements, stated Paysafe.
Pecunpay CEO Antonio García Cruz said: “Through the launch of this new network, consumers will have much easier access to cash, by being able to use cash withdrawal and deposit services at partnering supermarkets and stores across Spain.
“This is a vital step in providing services that are focused on the needs of consumers.”
A part of e-money institution Pecunia Cards EDE, Pecunpay offers e-payment and e-money processing solutions. The electronic money institution (EMI) is supervised by Bank of Spain (BoE).
viafintech Spain general manager Sergio Kvaternik said: “Our partnership with Pecunpay allows us to leverage our joint strengths and align our complementary services.
“Together we can provide improved access to cash to many more companies and their customers, thanks to our extensive POS network in Spain.”
