Mastercard has partnered with payment solutions provider Geidea, to enhance digital payment adoption among small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the UAE.
The agreement was signed on 9 December 2024 at Abu Dhabi Global Market during Abu Dhabi Finance Week.
Geidea will leverage Mastercard Gateway technology to deliver secure payment solutions, benefiting SMEs by streamlining their ability to accept payments from a broader customer base.
Mastercard Gateway provides streamlined payment processing and fraud prevention technology that will now be integrated with Geidea’s platform.
This integration introduces features like Card on File, recurring payments, and enhanced fraud prevention capabilities.
In addition, Geidea and Mastercard are addressing the increasing demand for recurring payments and alternative payment methods, including digital wallets.
