Sigue Global Services, the international affiliate of money transfer firm Sigue Corporation, has expanded the reach of its remittance services into Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Sigue has partnered local payment system networks Golden Crown for this expansion. Under the agreement, Sigue customers will be able to send and receive convenient cash payments at any of Golden Crown’s existing locations.

Golden Crown has approximately 49,000 agent locations throughout Russia, the CIS, and other countries, including Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.

Ivan Sitnov, director of Golden Crown money transfer service, said: “This cooperation will extend the geographic reach of Golden Crown transfers to European countries and help reinforce our partnership positions in a whole range of countries, including Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, and France. Moreover, new send and receive locations in Portugal and Austria will become available to Golden Crown customers.”
