Blaze Mobile upgrades m-commerce ‘sticker’

M-commerce solutions provider, Blaze Mobile has developed a smart sticker that enables contactless purchases to be tranferred in real-time without the need of a carrier network or WiFi. Blaze Mobile claims the patent-pending solution can be used on any mobile device and that the data transfer works both ways enabling the mobile handset to send information to smart sticker and vice versa.

Visa breaks down barriers for e-commerce

Visa has teamed up with two online shopping services in a bid to break down boundaries for Latin American and US cross-border e-commerce in time for Christmas. Through SkyBOX Visa cardholders in 40 Latin American or Caribbean countries can register for free and shop at online US retailers. The second e-commerce shopping enablement service, Borderlinx, will serve Visa cardholders in Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Kuwait, New Zealand, Oman, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
