MTN Rwanda has deployed Ericsson’s Converged Wallet m-commerce solution for subscribers.

According to Ericsson, the m-commerce solution includes the converged wallet, systems integration and operational support.

Ericsson’s strategic partnership with MTN Rwanda will allow it to access to more than 13m mobile money subscribers throughout 14 countries in Africa.

On the 20th November it was also announced that Ericsson started strategic partnership with the Johannesburg Stock Exchange (JSE) listed MTN group to introduce the converged wallet across the operator’s footprint.
