The value marked an increase of 249.3% over the previous month of $584.04m and a rise of 356.9% when compared with the last 12-month average, which stood at $446.53m.
Comparing venture financing deals value in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position, with total announced deals in the period worth $1.06bn. At the country level, the UK topped the list in terms of deal value at $930m.
In terms of volumes, Asia-Pacific emerged as the top region for payments industry venture financing deals globally, followed by Europe and then Middle East and Africa.
