SafeCharge, an international payments services company has teamed up with UK-based betting and gaming company Ladbrokes for payment technology.

The bookmaker will be able to use SafeCharge’s offering of payment services, including one-click deposits, payment optimisation and PCI compliance services.

The payments company already handles transactions for other betting companies in Europe and was chosen by Ladbrokes to relieve it of the regulatory and cost burdens of storing card data for repeat customers.

Ladbrokes has a total of over 2,800 betting shops across the UK, Ireland, Belgium and Spain and serves international markets via the internet, mobile and telephone.
