Payment Alliance International (PAI), a privately-held provider of ATMs and electronic payment processing solutions, has acquired Avery Scott, a full-service independent ATM deployer based in Louisville, Kentucky.

The deal adds over 400 ATM locations throughout the Louisville metro area, surrounding counties and states to PAI’s existing nationwide network of over 74,000 ATMs.

Under the agreement, the employees and affiliates of Avery Scott will be retained by PAI. Terms of the agreement were not revealed.

Commenting on the acquisition, PAI president and CEO John Leehy said: “Avery Scott and its leadership team have provided retail ATM services to the Louisville market for more than 20 years, and we are excited to bring our company strength and expanded product line to both new and existing Avery Scott customers.

“With PAI headquartered in Louisville, this hometown acquisition is extra special for all of us and brings marquis clients such as the Louisville Zoo, Jewish Hospital and Slugger Field, to name a few,” added Leehy.

Avery Scott CEO Ron Fadel said: “We’re joining forces with PAI because both companies value each other’s expertise, reputation, dedication to customers and commitment to introducing new and innovative ATM processing solutions.
