The forecast for UK retail sales across all channels found that e-commerce sales will account for 11.5% of the £383.1bn total retail sales in 2013, an increase from 10.2% in 2012.
Tablet commerce is expected to grow by triple digits in 2013 to reach £3.57bn, with eMarketer predicting tablets will be favoured over smartphones by shoppers for buying products online.
