Worldline, an Atos company, has inked a reseller-partnership with Czech Republican developer and producer of electronic cash registers solutions, Elcom, to offer e-payment solutions to Slovakian merchants.
Through this partnership, which aims to target around 40,000 merchants in Slovakia, the payment products of Worldline will be offered along with Elcom’s cash register service in the country.

According to Atos, the collaboration between Worldline and Elcom will ensure that the Slovak merchants offer standard electronic payment options to their customers.
Worldline general manager in Slovakia, Pascal Libert, said: "In order to take a big step forward in offering the Worldline solutions to the Slovakian market, we were looking for reliable partners with a broad client base in Slovakia, which has resulted in a partnership with Elcom, a research, development, and manufacturing company in the field of electronics."
Elcom’s cash registers solutions have been designed for small, mid-sized and large businesses and HoReCa. The company’s products and solutions are widely used by customers in more than 50 countries.
In Slovakia, merchant acceptance has gained momentum in the past few years. However, the growth and acceptance of e-payments in the country still remains low.
