Mexico ranked 60th in the World Bank’s Doing Business Report (2020). In the 2019 report it finished 54th. In the World Economic Forum’s Global Competitiveness Report (2019), Mexico finished 48th, after ranking 48th in 2018.
Public healthcare expenditure totalled $34.4bn and private healthcare expenditure equalled $32.4bn in 2018.
The largest urban areas in Mexico are Mexico City (22.5 million people), Monterrey (6.7 million) and Guadalajara (6.2 million).
