ACI Worldwide has partnered with Ingo Payments to enhance the ACI Speedpay platform with ACI Speedpay Digital Disbursements.

This solution is aimed at assisting businesses in scaling their disbursement operations to align with customer expectations and regulatory norms.

The initiative comes in response to the increasing consumer preference for digital payment methods, as reported in the ACI Speedpay Pulse 2024 Report, which notes that more than three-quarters of Americans favour digital transactions.

The new offering will provide businesses with a range of disbursement options, including real-time, point-in-time and batch-based disbursements.

This partnership will offer integration solutions that can be tailored for business customers, including embedded payment capabilities or fully hosted SaaS-based disbursement experiences.

The solution will enable businesses to offer various payout options, streamline reporting, and reduce administrative overhead.

By eliminating the delays associated with check deposits, the solution aims to improve cash flow efficiency for businesses.

ACI Speedpay general manager Ron Shultz said: “At ACI Speedpay, we like to say – life is hard enough, let’s make bill pay easy – the same can be said for disbursements, where consumers need their money fast and sent via their preferred payment type. Our partnership with Ingo Payments enables ACI’s biller clients to offer numerous digital disbursement options to their consumers, serving to enhance the overall customer experience.”

Ingo Payments CEO Drew Edwards stated: “We’re proud to collaborate with ACI to provide businesses with seamless, scalable disbursement solutions that meet the evolving needs of today’s digital economy. Together, we’re helping clients move money with greater speed, security and efficiency.”

ACI Worldwide reported a net income of $203m for 2024, a 67% increase from the previous year.

The company’s total revenue for the year ended 31 December 2024 was $1.594bn, up 10% from 2023.

In November 2024, ACI Worldwide teamed up with Zimswitch, Zimbabwe’s national electronic payments technology company, to strengthen its fraud management capabilities.

This partnership integrates ACI’s Fraud Management and Payments Intelligence solution into Zimswitch’s existing payment infrastructure.
