IT services firms T-Systems and Hungarian processor Takarékinfo have tapped ACI Worldwide to facilitate real-time payments services at 17 banks in Hungary.
With the UP Immediate Payments solution from ACI, the Hungarian lenders can connect to the country’s domestic real-time payments platform.
The Immediate Payments solution supports origination, processing, clearing and settlement, as well as fraud detection on a single platform.
T-Systems Hungary director of large business solutions division Ákos Kalmár said: “Our solutions will ensure these banks will be able to connect to the new domestic real-time scheme in time for launch and fully meet all its compliance requirements while delivering state-of-the-art services to their customers.”
In the recent times, various financial services providers have opted for ACI’s UP solutions.
Earlier this month, Payments Network Malaysia utilised ACI’s UP Real-Time Payments solution to implement Malaysia’s Real-Time Retail Payments Platform (RPP).
At the end of last year, ABN Amro and Everlink Payment Services selected ACI’s UP Retail Payments.
ACI head of real-time payments Craig Ramsey said: “Our proven solutions ensure that financial institutions can take advantage of the new opportunities that open banking and real-time payments present, while also ensuring the highest levels of privacy, data protection, and fraud protection for their clients.”
