Dutch payments platform Adyen has collaborated with Mi9 Retail, an enterprise software provider for large retailers, to enable retailers to accept payments through Adyen’s payments platform.
The collaboration will deliver an integrated point-of-sale and payments solution that will cater to over 450 retail businesses served by Mi9 Retail.
Adyen said that the integrated solution will phase out the requirement of having to go through lengthy certification processes.
It will also do away with the cost of having different payment partners in different countries, Adyen said.
The tie-up will also make Adyen’s Terminal API available to Mi9 Retail users. The API will enable retailers to integrate and scale the technology based on their requirements and offer checkout from anywhere in the store, on any device.
Mi9 Retail CEO Neil Moses said: “Our partnership with Adyen was designed to meet the evolving needs of retailers. We collaborate with companies that provide great services for our customers, and we know that they will immediately see the advantages that Adyen offers.”
