AirPlus International, a payment and billing solutions provider for business travel, has launched its latest commercial card to help European companies and their employees manage business trips more efficiently.
The corporate card will be first made available in France starting 24 September. It will be offered in 18 other European countries by the end of next year. These countries include Austria, Belgium, the Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
The card, according to Airplus, offers a central touch point for all matters across all 19 European nations rather than using various national banking partners.
AirPlus International CEO Patrick Diemer said: “With the new European Corporate Card Solution, AirPlus meets the need of multinational customers to standardize payment processes.
“AirPlus customers and their employees can now count on a single partner who centralizes, simplifies and harmonizes all processes: from the implementation of the card program to payment and reporting.”
The card can be used to pay securely for business-related expenses during trips at more than 44 million Mastercard acceptance points in 210 countries and territories across the globe.
