Al-Arafah Islami Bank has teamed up with MasterCard to launch the MasterCard Islamic debit, credit and prepaid cards in Bangladesh.

The five new newly launched Shariah-compliant plastic cards include Fastcash debit card, La Riba credit cards in Platinum, Gold and Classic ranges, and La Riba Hajj prepaid card.
The cards have been designed to offer lowest monthly compliance fees, 50 days without any additional charges in addition to providing discounts at over 600 merchants and vendors.
MasterCard Bangladesh country manager Syed Mohammad Kamal said: "These cards offer a host of privileges that the cardholders are accustomed to."
