Aliaswire, a US leading provider of electronic
payment services has received a Notification of Allowance for its
“Secure Authentication and Payment System” US patent.
The patent has more than 40 claims covering a
broad range of payment transactions such as P2P mobile payments,
mobile funds transfers, and purchases that take place over wireless
devices.
The company expects the patent to be issued
within the next 60 days, and has filed two additional divisional
patents in January this year.
“The market for mobile P2P and mobile payments
is poised to explode in the next few years and we are very pleased
with the addition of this U.S. patent to our growing portfolio of
intellectual property.” said Hoss Mohsenzadeh, CEO of Aliaswire.
“This patent strengthens our competitive position and offers
protection to Aliaswire’s clients and partners.”
The patent claims encompass Aliaswire’s
comprehensive process for initiating payments through various
mobile interfaces, including mobile applications that reside on a
device connected to a telephone network, SMS text messages, or
voice commands. Payment routing is completed in a payment network
which may include ACH, EFT or credit card.
