American Express will update its Business Platinum Card next year. It will include the addition of business and travel solutions to improve productivity.

The enhanced offering will provide American Express Business Platinum Card holders one year of complimentary access to global WeWork locations. This will start from February next year. WeWork network includes 335 workspaces across 83 cities and 24 countries with on-site support and amenities.

Users will additionally get a Shop Dell benefit of statement credits on direct purchases at Dell.

American Express enabling global travel solutions

The card will also feature a new rewards structure. Throughout the next year, card members will also receive other benefits such as hotel credit and rewards or points on certain Fine Hotels & Resorts prepaid bookings.

American Express head of US commercial card products Courtney Kelso said: “The way people do business is changing. There are still barriers to staying productive on the go, which is why we’re introducing solutions that support our customers’ agility and productivity – anywhere they need them.

“The Business Platinum Card is designed to give business owners an edge. We’re thrilled to bring WeWork and Dell on as partners to give our customers the business tools, global office space and technology they need to take their business even further.”

Eligible American Express Business Platinum Card users may also gain access to financing solutions. These include working capital terms and business loans.

The card company also plans to provide access to business productivity solutions – Spend Manager, Connect to QuickBooks and Year End Summary, among others.
