AsiaPay has added Samsung Pay support that will enable the merchants to accept payments made from Samsung Pay wallet.
Samsung Pay is a mobile payment and digital wallet service available on selected Samsung devices.
The move will allow the AsiaPay merchants to boost sales by catering to Samsung Pay users. Concurrently, it provides the Samsung Pay users with added payment convenience in 12 Asian markets including Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
AsiaPay CEO Joseph Chan said: “In this new era of digital globalisation, digital innovation and disruption change the way we live and do business.
“There is continued merchant demand for a complete integrated payment acceptance solution across prevailing payment methods in Asia to optimise sales conversion and better serve the customers globally especially in digital channel payments.”
