Canada-based B2 Payment Solutions has further expanded its portfolio of test cards by launching a new US EMV and contactless debit test card set.
The UL USA EMV Debit Test Card set will test the working of EMV and contactless debit cards in the country.
The test set can be used by acquirers, point-of-sale (POS) developers and merchants to examine payment acceptance devices and demonstrate if different cards work within their payment infrastructures.
The set comes with 16 contact and contactless cards, and various application identifier (AID) cards such as 2, 3 and 4 AID debit cards across Visa, Mastercard, Discover, DNA and Interac.
In addition, the set includes a B2 document with information on EMV debit processing in the country and multiple debit use-case scenarios to be identified and supported before implementation of the debit.
B2 Payment Solutions president Bruce Murray said: “Many merchants and vendors have now entered the second phase of EMV migration and implementation to enable debit and contactless support.
“The announcement of our new EMV debit card test set aligns with our customer needs and enables them to train, test and demonstrate the many US EMV debit contact and contactless payment scenarios on their systems prior to going live.”
Including the new set, B2 currently offers more than 15 test card sets in the US, Canada, the UK and Europe.
