Bangkok Bank has teamed up with AirAsia, AirAsia BIG and MasterCard to roll out a new all-in-one credit card that offers a wide range of privileges for shoppers and travelers.
Dubbed as Bangkok Bank AirAsia Platinum MasterCard Credit Card, the new card will offer convenient spending and traveling options for shoppers and travelers under the concept of ‘Shop and fly conveniently with one card’.

The card will provide benefits including earning 1 BIG Point for every THB20 spent to redeem for free domestic and international flights as well as earning triple BIG Points when making payments with the card on AirAsia’s website, AirAsia sales counters or the AirAsia call center.
With this card, cardholders will be able to earn BIG Points for AirAsia redemptions and make payments using the Be Smart installment plan with a 0% interest rate for three months or with a special interest rate for up to ten months in line with the bank’s conditions.
In addition, they will also receive four complimentary vouchers for free checked baggage and four complimentary vouchers for an upgrade to premium seats.
The card will offer other privileges such as priority boarding, priority baggage and a complimentary in-flight hot or cold drink.
Also, customers can earn 5,000 BIG Points to redeem for a free flight if they apply for the card until 31 December 2015 or spend THB5,000 or more in the first billing cycle. They can also combine the points with their credit card payment to redeem for a flight.
AirAsia BIG CEO Alice Goh said: "We currently have more than 14 million BIG members worldwide with 1.4 million members in Thailand. For every Baht 20 spent, cardholders will instantly receive 1 BIG Point instantly. They can also get superior privileges that allow them to book promotional tickets ahead of AirAsia BIG members."
