Barnes International, a smart card test tool provider, has partnered with CardPro Services, a Morocco-based payment consultants, , to expand enhanced EMV chip card and mobile payment testing services and tools to the Moroccan market.
The partnership will provide Moroccan card issuers essential support to reduce the risk, cost and duration of their EMV migration and payment card accreditation programmes.
According to figures from EMVCo, more than 60% of card users across Africa depend on magnetic stripe technology, exposing them to a greater degree of card fraud.
Barnes has launched a range of magnetic stripe, chip card and NFC mobile payment application test tools to make sure that the development and manufacture of high-quality payment products that meet ISO, CQM and EMV requirements.
